Amersham Town Council, together with Amersham British Legion, have informed us that this year’s Remembrance Day Service in the Memorial Gardens on Sun 8 Nov has been cancelled due to the latest COVID-19 restrictions.
Instead the Mayor and Deputy Mayor will be laying wreaths on behalf of local organisations.
The Society’s Committee understand the need to comply with the latest government legislation on people gathering and support these arrangements. Our wreath will be prepared for the ceremony.
