The unveiling of a new town map of Amersham-on-the-Hill took place on Sat 18 Mar 2023. Designed in Metroland colours and style, the map will help residents and visitors navigate the town as well as provide them with information about its history starting from 1892.
It stands at Oakfield Corner next to the replica of a Metropolitan Railway locomotive. A smaller version of the map will be on display in the library at the Chilterns Lifestyle Centre.
The map has been organised by the Amersham Action Group volunteers with help and support of Amersham Town Council, Amersham Museum, Amersham & Villages Community Board and Amersham and District Residents Association.
The Town Map is here! It was unveiled this morning by our wonderful Deputy Mayor, Jane Barnes.
