Mervyn Edwards served with Thames Valley Police for more than 30 years. Over half of his service, 15 years, he worked as part of the Tactical Firearms Team as a police marksman. His duties once included protecting Margaret Thatcher after the 1984 Brighton bombing.
In his talk Mervyn will give interesting accounts about some of the operations in which he played a leading role. The talk is based on the book of his memoirs published in 2018.
