Bagels and Bacon

Jeff Rozelaar is a former schoolteacher and professional speaker working on land and cruise ships. The talk “Bagels and Bacon” is based on his autobiographical book of growing up in the East End of London during the postwar period. It features a host of colourful characters, a mixture of Jewish jokes, English humour and Cockney irony, even examples of the music, and most importantly it attempts to convey Jeff’s liking of London and love of history.

Coffee/tea and biscuits will be available from 7.30pm. The talk starts at 8.00pm. No booking necessary. Guests and new members welcome.
