The talk “Printed Board Games as a record of History – both real and imagined” by Prof Adrian Seville FSA is the last in our ‘Lockdown Special’ Summer Season.
Adrian’s academic career began in Physics and has for many years collected printed board games. Since retirement he has become the world’s leading authority on the Game of the Goose – a simple dice game known throughout Europe for over 400 years. Many of these games give great insight into the social history of the time. He has exhibited his collection in New York and his latest book on the subject was recently published the the University of Amsterdam Press.
The talk starts at 8.00pm. If you wish to participate in the meeting please email to email@example.com requesting the invitation.
