A free half-day online conference ‘HS2 Archaeology: Digs and Discoveries Spring 2021’ will be held on Sat 15 May from 1.30pm to 5.30pm. It’s jointly organised by Fusion JV, archaeologists for HS2, and the Bucks Archaeological Society.
Reports from archaeologists working on the route of HS2 across Buckinghamshire will be on St Mary’s old church and churchyard in Stoke Mandeville, Fleet Marston Roman Town in north-west of Aylesbury, Iron Age and Romano-British rural settlements in north-west Bucks and Blackgrounds Farm in Edgcote.
