King George V Road
HS2 Ltd have informed the HS2 Amersham Action Group that they will be holding a public drop in event at Chiltern District Council Offices in King George V Road on Friday, 17th November from 2 – 6pm.
The HS2 Amersham Action Group met with HS2 Ltd in June , urging them to stage a weekend information day where contractors and other regional experts would be on hand to provide up-to-date information on proposed construction work in and around Amersham. It appears that Friday’s event is the response to this request.
Members of the HS2AAG met with the newly-appointed HS2 Community Engagement Manager recently. The purpose of this meeting was to obtain further details of the event and to try and ensure that answers to at least some of the questions which concern us all would be forthcoming. They have been assured that regional representatives of key contractors appointed to the project will be available to answer questions on Friday. They have also been assured that more information events will follow as construction work progresses. They will continue to monitor this and keep you informed!
