Denise Beddows will tell us about the British and German  Civilian Internees, who were detained in Britain during the First World War. Denise is an author and historian, who is based in Buckinghamshire. She is a member of the Society of Authors and of the Society of Women Writers.  During her talk she will give us an insight into one of the less well publicised historical facts of the War. We are sure that you will find both the speaker and the subject of great interest particularly this month, when we have been remembering the Centenary of the Armistice.

The event will be in the King’s Chapel. Doors open at 7.30pm, when coffee/tea and biscuits will be served and the talk will start at 8.00pm. All are welcome. The entrance fee is £2.00 for members and £3.00 for non-members. We look forward to seeing you.
